brig-lockup-badge.svg |
The wordmark on a navy field that includes the clear space, for slides and for any background you do not control. |
brig-avatar.svg, brig-avatar-480.png |
Org and repo avatar: the b on a full-bleed navy square. It has no corner radius, because GitHub rounds it. |
brig-mark-on-{dark,light}.svg |
The same glyph without the field. |
nofire-logo.svg, nofire-logo-on-dark.svg |
The NOFire AI logo, for the README footer. |
architecture.svg |
The diagram in the README's "The boundary". |
The files are in assets/ in the Brig repository. The directory is flat.
The marks for hull are in brig-sh/brig-artwork, with the sources for these files.
Architecture diagram alt text #
The README embeds architecture.svg with <img src>. In that case, a browser does not read the <title> and <desc> inside the SVG. The alt attribute of the img element carries the description.
When you change the diagram, update that alt text.
Rules #
- The wordmark is always lowercase. There is no capital form.
- Do not put the on-dark files on a light background. The ink is paper-coloured and disappears. Use the on-light pair there.
- Keep four units of clear space on every side. The badge includes it. The transparent files do not.
- The wordmark holds down to about 33 px tall. Below that height, the stroke is less than two device pixels and the counters close up. Use the avatar instead.
- Scale by whole units. A fractional unit puts a stroke on a half pixel, and the letters go soft.
Generated files #
These files are generated. Do not edit them by hand. To change a file:
- Change the glyph table in brig-sh/brig-artwork.
- Rebuild.
- Copy the result back into
assets/.
